Summer day camp that teaches computer programming concetps to middle school girls in Greensboro NC
  • Create virtual 3D worlds
  • Make live action stories
  • Design your own computer games
  • Develop impressive projects for school
  • All while learning computing and basic programming

Alice Workshop for Girls is a two week class that introduces middle school girls to computer science through an easy-to-learn program that allows them to create their own stories and games in 3D computer animation.

The 2014 Alice Workshop for Girls will consist of two introductory sessions. We can also accommodate girls who have previous programming experience, or have completed the workshop before.

We have received an Aspire IT Grant for 2014, and will be able to again offer two scholarships for each session for families with a need for financial assistance. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please send us an e-mail.

The 2014 workshops are open for registration. Classes fill up quickly, so register early. Feel free to e-mail us with any questions about the workshop or the Alice program.
